I'M AT it again: trying to fix up this blog.
I don't need all the fancy stuff. Just something that looks nice and is easy for readers to navigate. Something that does not incite me to pull my hair out when I try to configure it. Something friendly, basically.
The problem happens when my creative self also hankers after the vividly beautiful, multi-faceted, split-level structure sort of design.
I want to come good, right. I also want to get better. But, sometimes in life when you strive for either of those, you get so thwarted by one thing or another it feels like you're getting nowhere fast.
I've found, over the years, that the best solution for that sort of frustration is a hearty helping of laugh it off. (Crying is equally therapeutic, but a lot less fun.) There's a time to strive, and a time to make a joke, get a joke, or find one lying around.
So be kind and unwind while I do my utmost to sort things out. Before that, though, I, will go nibble on something "a la lighter side of ..."
