Purpose: on Blue

HIYA. Miss me? It seems kind of cold to leave you hanging while I evolve, revolve and resolve my becoming-blogs Trinbago Shine On and ABC Endo: A Trinbago Survivor's Guide.

So while I work there, how about I continue to whisper some sweet nothings in your ear here, to hold on to your priceless interest. I appreciate you, so I'm trying to make this work.

My post purpose today is being blue. Oh no, not me. The sky. How on earth did it come to be that when we humans talk of being blue, we mean we are down in dumps; but when the sky is being blue, it's just majesty! Where's the correlation?

Think I'll have to look up the nexus of the term "I'm blue." I'll save that bit of insight for a rainy day, however. Today ...

The sky today was the blue of Mother Mary's veil. A heavenly blue. It was not a tame colour, though. It  was a colour to make your eyes jump, I mean from eyeing anything else to keep glancing at the sky bedecked in such a BLUE.

It was a hue to wake your urge to fly; to make your heart blow up like a balloon. I'd like a balloon the colour of the sky today.

If you had looked upon it, too, so would you.
