The trick is to get ahead of the danger and keep reaching for right. Photo by Vincent Tan from Pexels |
LET ME SHARE the intention with you: I have so many things I plan to write about, and they are of such diverse fare, that one blog, or two, or three just will not cut it.
So as I said before: when it comes to my blogs ... expect more.
I am telling you this so you will be in the know when you see that I continue to make changes. I really don't want you to think I'm just being flaky, flighty or unfaithful.
I am actually working hard, and learning along the way.
Somewhere I mentioned that my watchword -- my touchstone in this new year is properly. That's how I want to do anything to which I set my shoulder.
The word hearkens to the Japanese concept of kaizen: basically "continuous improvement."
It takes time and right effort, more than anything else (though, yes, money helps; but if you don't have it what yuh going to do: nothing?) to build on dreams.
One blog I'm working on has my tagline "Hobbies: just the start."A hobby is like a dream, and by applying ambitious activity to it, you can develop it into something vital, living and elevated. That's the heart of innovation right there.
It's not just a technology thing.I confess, though, that blogging did not begin as a hobby for me. It began as a weapon. A thing I could wield to retake my public forum and remake my word-warrior power to all people.
As always happens to me, my resolve to make war gave way to wanting to make love. And you know what does it: productivity.
Once I start getting passionately productive in trying to create something of worth, a lot of the bad feelings fade, and I'm left with mostly a warm, big sense of purpose.
That's the best healing in the world. So I'm making changes to this blog again, to a proper purpose. When I've delivered on the vision, you'll get a clear picture of what it was all for, I'm confident.
I apologise if I've thrown you for any loops. I need your trust in me. That's a big ask. Still, I am asking.
After this heads up, I will be taking a break from posting anything new here (only a break; I have plans for this blog, too); and will be moving posts to other blogs as I bring them to life.
It's development, right, which requires refining, arrangement and reaching out.
For far too long, years and years truth be told, I've allowed my skills to be undervalued and my talent to crouch under a bushel.Meanwhile, others with less ability pushed ahead. It's like I was eating their dust; choking on it, but made too nervous to brush myself off and forge ahead ... as I've so often had to do in this life in this country.
¡No mas!But I won't pitch in like a wrecking-ball and do more destruction than creation (a la Thanos). I will think. I will plan. I will execute ... properly.
It's about doing good work, after all. And by that I mean good as in "good deeds."
